Our team

Your guides to discovery are some of the best arts and culture leaders in the world. They have helped tell the stories of place as well as design those places. Say hello to the Love City Life team.

  • David Bryan

    Founder/Director at Xtend (UK) Ltd., an organisation development consultancy.

    He has a long history of work on organisational change and diversity in the public, voluntary and arts sectors. He is the Chair of Brixton House, Battersea Arts Centre and Creative Lives (UK). He is a member of the Mayor of London's Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm and a trustee of Dunraven Educational Trust. He has worked with Southbank University, Goldsmiths College and Kings College (London). He was made a CBE for his services to the Arts.

  • Charlie Levine

    Independent curator and Founder/Director of Institute of Curiosity & Curating, an organisation designed to demystify and democratise curatorial methodologies.

    She is also Founder/Director of SqW:Lab, an international fellowship based in Mumbai and Trustee of charity, Quiet Down There. She has worked with ITV, UAL Origins Creatives, Historic England, Crafts Council, Central Saint Martins, UCL Culture, Government Art Collection, Artangel, National Portrait Gallery, Sluice__ and RIBA.

  • Ahmed Akasha

    Founder of D237, a collective of designers, creatives and branding specialists with an eye for detail.

    He is a highly experienced and versatile creative lead with 14 years experience and has worked as a branding consultant for start-ups and medium sized organisations in North America, Europe and Africa. Clients include NHS, Facebook, Burson Marsteller, Arts Council England, 2012 London Olympics, Facebook, Victoria and Albert Museum and Getty Images.

  • David Flindall

    Founder/Director of Curious Ways, a website design & development agency that specialises in creating thoughtful online spaces.

    A web developer with over 15 years experience, he values understanding the nuances and needs of his clients and creative partners so as to produce bespoke websites, and building quality long term relationships as a result. Clients include RCA’s Design Age Institute, Rankin, The Garden Museum, Mr President, 30 Ninjas and Momentum ITSMA.
